Technical support for Videos & Webcasts

Video Playing

All of the videos on this site are played using a Flash® player.  If the videos do not play when you click on one of the links, it may mean that you do not have the latest Flash® player installed with your browser.

In order to get the latest version of Flash® click HERE and follow the instructions.

Some of the videos will be offered with a "download" link.  You can download the video by right clicking on the link and picking "save as" or "save target as".  In order to play a downloaded video, you will need QuickTime® installed on your computer.  You can get the latest version of QuickTime® HERE

You can also simply click on the "download" link to play the mp4 through your QuickTime® in its own window. To test your QuickTime® installation: http://www.apple.com/quicktime/troubleshooting/
(In some cases, uninstalling and reinstalling Quicktime® will solve any problems)


Live Webcast Streaming

In order to receive live webcasts, you must have the latest version of Flash® installed. You can get the latest version of Flash® HERE


PC Quicktime Settings

These settings should clear up the common issues when using a PC with Windows.

  1. Open the Control Panel by clicking on your Start button and then on the "Control Panel" icon. When the Control Panel opens, click on "Switch to Classic View" that is on the left hand side of the window. Double click on the blue QuickTime icon to open the QuickTime settings window.
  2. You will now see a QuickTime Settings window with several tabs along the top.
  3. Go to the "Audio" tab. In the Sound Out section set the Rate to: 44 kHz, the Size to: 16 bit, and the Channels to: Stereo (L R)
  4. Select the "Browser" tab and make sure that the "Play movies automatically" box is checked, then click on the "MIME Settings..." button at the bottom. In the MIME Types window that opens, click the "Use Defaults" button and then click "OK".
  5. Select the "Streaming" tab and choose "Automatic" in the drop-down menu under "Streaming Speed".
  6. Select the "File Types" tab and click on the "Use Defaults" button.
  7. Select the "Advanced" Tab. If "Transport Setup" is set up to Automatic, click the down arrow in the drop-down menu and choose custom. For Transport Protocol choose "HTTP", and for Port ID: "80." Click the "OK" button. Next, click the "Empty Cache" button.
  8. While still on the "Advanced" tab, under the "Video" section, check the "Safe mode (GDI only)" radio button.
  9. Click the "Apply" button on the lower right. You must click the "Apply" button in order to save the changes you just made.
  10. Close the QuickTime Settings window by clicking on the "OK" button.

Mac Quicktime Settings:

These settings should clear up the common issues when using a Mac.

  1. Go to the Apple menu and select "System Preferences".
  2. In System Preferences click the blue Q icon that says "Quicktime" under it.
  3. There will be 5 tabs at the top and click on the one that says "Advanced".
  4. There should be a pull down bar next to "Transport Setup".
  5. Click the pull down bar and select "Custom".
  6. A small menu will come down and make sure the Transport Protocal is set to "HTTP" and that the Port ID is set to 80.
  7. Then just click OK and then quit system preferences.
