Angels Visit in the Night!

Our son saw angels in his bedroom. It was Halloween, which isn't too crazy here in Australia. Nevertheless, some children had been talking on the playground, saying that if people don't leave out treats, their house would get blown up! This upset our son, but my husband Carl reassured Bailey that all was well, and we had angels sitting on our roof!

The next morning, Bailey said he had awoken in the middle of the night and saw the shapes of a crocodile and hippo head in the corners of his room - and was scared... but then his room filled with light, and there were seven angels standing around his bed looking at him, checking out his toys, flicking through his children's Bible. He described them as “girl'” angels. And he said they were “protector” angels, not “warrior” angels (we still don't know where he got that from).

About two months later, he had another visitation. Again in the middle of the night. He said an angel came through his window, filled the room with light, smiled at him as it flew by, spun around in his room and then flew out again.

He is so peaceful and matter-of-fact about his encounters. I've since read him Heavenly City, your book for children about heaven, which he loved.
